Don Ritter's karate program is a testament to inspiration and a strong dedication to modern WKF karate. With an impressive record of 14 Canadian national gold medals and the title of IKA World Champion, Don has excelled not only at the highest levels but has also participated in five WKF World Championships, once ranking in the top 16 globally among fighters in the -70kg weight class from 1996 to 2004. His extensive experience includes over 500 competitive WKF kumite bouts worldwide.
Bringing over 30 years of teaching experience to his role, Don Ritter served as an international elite competitor for the German National and Canadian National Teams, acting as a Canadian National Coach and Ontario High-Performance Trainer. His teaching philosophy centers around a dynamic interpretation of Shotokan karate, incorporating elements from Judo, self-defense, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
